The room was spacious and the patio overlooking the nice garden was a great place to relax. On one afternoon we could even see an orangutan with her baby in the garden. The complementary breakfast was delicious with lot of choices. They have also a restaurant overlooking the river where they serve superb food and juices at very convenient prices. Andri and his family were very friendly and helpful for any inquiry we had and arranged our transport from airport and after to Berastagi. We went on the 1 day jungle trek with them and had a great time with Amri and Baba as well as a very interesting village tour. Comunication before arrival was excellent. Wifi was working very good.

Sam's Bungalows tem um jardim, terraço, um restaurante e bar em Bukit Lawang. O alojamento apresenta serviço de quartos, um balcão de turismo e câmbio de moeda. Sam is an attentive and friendly owner and his staff are excellent! Pipie his main guy was always there to chat and help plus he played Rummikub with us at night! The restaurant was very good with a great selection of food with amazing value! They booked out car from Medan and gave a motorbike ride to the hotel which added to our experience! We also booked a jungle trek with Andre and Rama as our guides… they were patient and fun to hang with and the provided a wonderful lunch plus we saw six Orangutans with a mom and baby within 5ft! A definite recommend to our friends !

Tia is the soul of Rambai Tree and is such a caring and warmhearted person who will do everything possible to have a memorable stay. She was always available whenever i needed something and it was always great to have a chat with her. Tia also organized a jungle tour for me, which was an incredible experience. It was great that I did Not have to take care of anything. You can even tell her what you expect from your guide- if you would like to have a fun and entertaining guide who makes sure you won’t get bored or someone calm to just get Professional i nformation about the jungle and enjoy the peace of nature. A big thank you and I hope I can come back to this magical place someday 🌴

I stayed here for a night before catching my flight early in the morning. The room was clean, spacious and really confortable. The bed was amazing. The hotel has a shuttle service and it worked pretty well and was really quick to the airport. There is also a gym and a swimming pool which i did not used. I reccomend to stay here if you are looking for a nice place near Medan airport
